Ten Years Later

Ten years ago I was 21, working and going to school full time. There was this guy from the paint department at Home Depot, and things were getting kind of serious.  I had my very own 550 SF apartment, two adorable kittens, enough furniture to fit in one truck, and the bright idea to use a minor in Spanish as an excuse to see a little of the world.

Ten years later, that young guy is an amazing husband, those two cats are old and have two doggy siblings, we all live in our new home, and we’re off to Europe again.

This time around we wanted to take our time.  It takes a village to watch our animals, so thanks to the help from our neighbors, friends, and family, we are spending the next 6 weeks traveling through Europe.

We’ve both been lucky enough to be allowed this time from our companies, thanks to two amazing bosses that value our work and dreams to travel.

As of now, we have one way tickets to Germany, the first couple nights booked, and plans for 2 weeks in Tuscany towards the end.  The rest we plan to discover along the way, an adventure together just like ten years ago.
